The Taj Mahal is an enormous mausoleum complex commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan to house the remains of his beloved wife, in Agra India. This was part of our exotic honeymoon journey around the wonders of the world. As a testament to his love and her beauty, he decided to build the most beautiful tomb anyone has ever seen – the Taj Mahal. The name derives from Mumtaz Muhal herself meaning ‘crown of palace’. Created as a symbol of adoration from the Emperor to his wife, the romantic history adds soul to the magnificent Taj Mahal.
